East village is Downtown San Diego’s largest urban neighborhood spanning over 130 blocks.
The development of Petco Park in the early 2000s spurred a turnaround for the area which used to be known for warehouses and parking lots, but is now famed for its trendy shops, upscale restaurants, and new high-rises. Construction continues with numerous hotel, multi-family, and mixed use projects currently underway.
